What each speed feels like
Real examples instead of tech terms. Times are based on each plan's top speed. Wi-Fi inside your home may be a bit slower.
Download times are theoretical at full plan speed (50 GB = 400 gigabits). Device and stream counts are guidance, not guarantees.
FAQ
Home internet questions
Talk to an advisor, Monday to Saturday, 9am–9pm Pacific time.
How fast can you install home internet?
Most installs happen within about 3 days of your call with us. Tell us your move-in date and we’ll book the first slot after you get the keys.
Do I need a Canadian credit history?
Not always. Many newcomers sign up with a passport and permit. If a deposit or a different plan is needed, your advisor tells you before anything is booked.
Is there a contract?
No. There is no contract, including with the 2-year price lock in Manitoba, British Columbia and Alberta. Your service agreement is with the provider, and an advisor explains it before anything is booked.
Can I book my internet install before I move in?
Yes. Add your move-in date to your order and an advisor books the first install slot after you get the keys.
Is the WiFi modem included?
Yes. A WiFi router and modem are included on every plan, with no monthly equipment rental fee.
What happens to my internet if I move again?
Talk to an advisor before you move. They check whether service is available at your new address and what it costs there.
